Responsibilities

Ensure the ship's plumbing is in working order. Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining all plumbing systems on board. Oversee the operation of the plumber shop, equipment, inventory, and consumables. Handle potable water hoses during loading and maintain gray and black water systems, and all potable water systems. Address plumbing-related complaints from passengers. Participate in safety duties and respond to plumbing emergencies. Attend department meetings and collaborate with heads of other departments requiring plumbing services. Participate in regular safety drills.

Requirements & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Technical training certificate in plumbing from an accredited school. Minimum of two years of professional experience as a skilled plumber. Hotel or resort maintenance experience is preferred. Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
